Because spoon-fed music sucks and twang is cheaper than therapy. Alt-Country, Americana, Indie, Rock, Folk & Blues. Est. 2005.

Hey - We hit on Frog Holler this year. I totally forgot The Damwells on my list. Real good record. Lucero has been a weird record for me. Too much hype and the vocals are just too rough (and this is coming from a Bruce fanatic). That being said, I keep pulling it out every two weeks and enjoy it more and more. I think the problem with people like us is that we listen to too much so we can't let records grow on us like we use to do. I let you know when it catches me. It should eventually because as you are "twang" based, I am "soul" based so the horns and organ on this record are right up my alley. Did you receive my Newsletter?
