Lucero on MTV’s $5 Cover

I’ve heard mixed reviews about MTV’s latest reality show featuring various Memphis musicians including Lucero. Personally I’d pay a bit more than a $5 cover for a Lucero show. Just sayin’.

    MTV shows music? And Lucero? Hell, I’m behind. And, for the record, the girls at the Lucero shows in Columbia, Charleston and Atlanta have more ink and Ben can barely stand. I don’t think I like this…I’m old.

    This is exactly what you would expect from a group of people acting like they are at a Lucero show. In reality it ain’t this pretty, where are the people spilling beer everywhere, the tattoos, and drunken sing alongs?
